I still remember the days, when everyone from my group talks about Game of Thrones (GoT) and I was kind of left out as I have not watched a single episode of its any season. Literally, I was not able to understand anything and at the same time my curiosity got increased as why they couldn't stop to chat all the time of the things related to GoT everyday.
So, to not being odd man out I finally decided to watch GoT. The question was how? First option was take my hard disk to a friend and copy all the seasons to it which he downloaded from torrents. Second option was to watch all the seasons on Hotstar which is the only official platform from India to watch Game of Thrones. As I am against piracy first option was dropped by me and I had started watching GoT on Hotstar.
First episode from season one I found very boring. At the time of watching episode one, even I felt why the hell I am watching it if it is this boring. But I watched 3-4 episodes in a single go and then I found this story gripping and at the end of season one I had became a fan of GoT like my other group members. I am die hard fan of sitcom series 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S.' and I had never thought any other series than that I would ever love it. But, GoT made my thought wrong.
As of writing on 7th April 2019, this year gonna be season 8: the final season of Game of Thrones and excitement of it is already on its peak around the globe. I hope my group and other friends will not post any spoilers on social media before watching it myself on Hotstar. We know that in previous seasons some episodes got leaked in various places and HBO itself mistakenly aired an episode of GoT before the actual date of release. Let's hope this kind of mishap not occurred this time.
Still can't believe this is the last season of GoT and on 14th April, 2019 first episode of Season 8 will air. I am just imagining the life after GoT about how we deal with the absence of talks regarding GoT after few months onwards. My personal favorites from Game of Thrones are Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner and Kit Harington. I will watch the creations of these actors in future too.
